Mereka menggelar kegiatan bakti sosial yang bertujuan untuk membantu memulihkan kondisi keluarga yang terdampak bencana tersebut. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, mereka memberikan bantuan uang dari hasil penggabungan dana guna membantu meringankan beban keluarga yang sedang dalam masa sulit. Aksi kepedulian ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa solidaritas dan gotong royong tetap menjadi pondasi kuat dalam menjawab tantangan sosial di masyarakat.
Iwan (sekretaris PC PMII Way Kanan) selaku koordinator lapangan penyebutan penggalang dana ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk kepedulian PMII, IPNU dan IPPNU terhadap sesama, Iya mengucapkan terimakasih kepada masyarakat Baradatu sudah mau menyumbangkan bantuan kepada pihak korban.
Hari ini Saya bersama sahabat-sahabat lainya sudah melakukan penggalangan dana langsung ke setiap warung-warung dan Masyarakat Baradatu dari depan gedung PCNU sampai Tugu Perahu Dana yang sudah tersalurkan sebesar kepada korban sebesar Rp. 1. 247.000 dan penggalangan dana ini masih berlanjut sampai tanggal 9 Juni 2024.
